As someone who was always the sporty kid, running, field hockey, swimming, tennis, netball, ran weekly with Nike Covent Garden run club, did events like the Nike We Own the Night 10k and eventually the Edinburgh Marathon, the pandemic hit me hard and in 2022 I found myself struggling to run 5k. As I continue my journey towards hitting a 24min 5k again, I am more conscious of how a lot of premium sportswear isn’t catered towards those starting out.
As On Running seeks to ‘drive increased awareness, cultural relevance, credibility and sales’, how can they cater towards beginners?
The hardest thing I found getting back into running was cONsistency for something that I wasn’t naturally good at anymore.
So let’s help people
KEEP ON RUNNING.
